As a young graphic designer, I cannot stress enough  how important is to have sources of inspiration around you. Creativity comes from within, but great ideas are inspired by other great ideas that set a standard. Looking for my beacon of inspiration, I discovered a new, fresh website called Design Faves. This is a platform where artists  in architecture, fashion, furniture design and anything related to creativity come together to look at visual representation of the top ideas in the business and read their stories.

The website is pretty basic. You simply go in and you will see the latest and most popular posts on the homepage. You can stay in touch with Design Faves through Facebook and Twitter as well. You can also sign up for their newsletter if you want to find out about what’s new and exciting right away. At the bottom of the homepage you will find a menu with categories of design and information about them.

DesignFaves has only come out this year and its evolution and the quality of information is quite impressive. I browsed through it and really got inspired. My favorite creative ideas so far are the looping bridge in China, the flexible shelving and the improbable altered objects.
