A lot can happen in the blink of an eye—a water droplet will fall to the ground, a bubble will burst, or a dancer will make a full pirouette. In fact, these rapid movements can’t be detected by the naked eye, instead humans just see the full motion and not the individual pieces. High speed photography, or freezing fast motion, was developed to try and capture these moments.
High speed photography is a technique used to shoot quick moving phenomena. It uses high-speed shutters to “freeze” individual scenes that can’t be seen by the human eye. The result: some really fantastic images.
