I remember when I was young and my parents brought me a Super Nintendo. Oh boy I was so happy because now I could play interactive games with my friends; my life was changed thanks to that new virtual world. I was playing Contra III, Mortal Kombat, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart so much that I was able to tell you every single step from those games by heart. 

After my Super Nintendo console, I’ve got a second hand computer on which a friend helped me install some of the most important games in history: Duke Nukem 3D, Prince of Persia, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Heretic and last but not least, Doom. These games were so advanced and realistic that I couldn’t even imagine that better graphics could be developed.

I think that many of the ’80s and ’90s kids know that in the beginning we didn’t even thought we can play a pc game using a mouse and that VooDoo video cards will rule the world forever.

Meh the memories…
