Cool Illustrations That Tell A Story

The artistic expression in these illustration is amazing, the detailing in some and the impact of the artist’s thought process is awe-inspiring. A lot of them touch base with what is wrong with the society, the medium today. Many of these illustrations try to express inner conflicts and many of them hint at global issues more magnanimous than one can imagine. 

The author, Jonny Ruzzo, grew up in a large town in the small state of Rhode Island, and moved out in 2008. He currently resides in New York City, where he works as an artist & illustrator. The main themes that reside in his work are superficiality, sexuality, gender, and my perceptions of beauty.

Jonny’s work has received recognition from publications such as American IllustrationSociety of Illustrators, and 3×3 Magazine, as well as being shown in galleries in solo and group shows around New York City. He was listed as one of CMYK Magazine’s Top 100 New Creatives in 2013. Some clients include WWD, iD gum from Stride, and Sexto Piso Publishing.
