Hyper Realistic Sculptures Made By A World Famous Sculptor

Carole A. Feuerman is recognized as one of the world’s most renowned, influential, and popular hyperrealist sculptors.  Her prolific career spans four decades in which she has pioneered new approaches to sculpture.  Working in both monumental and life size, she is the only figurative artist to hyperrealistically paint public art.  She resides in New York and maintains studios in both Manhattan and Jersey City. In 2011, she founded the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation to award and inspire deserving artists with exhibitions, housing and studio space, internships, and education grants.

Feuerman has had six museum retrospectives to date and has been included in exhibitions at the Venice Biennale, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, The State Hermitage, The Palazzo Strozzi Foundation, The Kunstmuseum Ahlen and the Circulo de Bellas Artes, among others. Notable honors received include the Amelia Peabody Award, the Betty Parsons Award, the Lorenzo de Medici Prize, first prizes at the Austrian Biennale and the Florence Biennale, Best in Show at the 2008 Beijing Biennale, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2013 Save the Arts Museum’s Choice Award for Sculpture.
