New York is one of the most photographed cities on Earth, if not the most photographed. This isn’t just a matter of quantity (though, of course, there is that, given the number of snapshot-happy tourists) but of quality.

Gotham has inspired legions of the best artists and photojournalists to capture it on film. Some of these images have become part of Big Apple mythology or helped to shape it, and if it were practical to bring them all together, they’d undoubtedly relate the epic tale of a metropolis driven by the both the best and worst aspects of human nature. It isn’t practical, but it is possible to pick examples that tell something of that story, which is what we’ve done here.

One interesting thing in photography, among others, is that most projects are very different and exciting. This project is called “the stranger project” because was created by an insurance company and the job was to make 4 shooting ( 2 in Montreal, 1 in Paris and 1 in Mexico city ).

People were open to this project and the result, as you will see, is awesome. Everything is perfect, almost you can say that photos were taken in a photography studio where conditions are perfect.

Star Wars is one of the most popular movie in the history, with millions of fans worldwide. To be honest I’m one of them and since I was a child, one of my wishes was to have a lightsaber. The Star Wars saga is a masterpiece and its contribution in making movies is huge.

As a matter of fact, getting a role in this movie can be compared with an astronaut job: everyone will tell you how lucky you are. Star Wars universe is extraordinary and thanks to George Lucas we grew up playing as stormtroopers or rebels fighting the Empire. Even if the first movie was launched many decades ago, it still make us shivers when Darth Vader comes into scene. As far as I know, he was voted the greatest negative movie character ever, and I strongly agree with it.

When I’m watching Star Wars I’m imagining huge galaxies populated with millions of species; I’m imagining a lot of interesting stories, heroes and intricate spaceships which are fighting at the speed of light. What is interesting is that I’m never thinking that this is only a movie and those are actors, fake monsters and movie sets. I like to remember the movie as a story which might be real.

Watching the Star Wars universe is great but isn’t is interesting to see how it was created? Remember that back in the old days they didn’t had state of the art computers to generate visual effects. They made almost everything by hand and this always makes the movie more interesting because despite the some funny visual effects, making everything manual means art. So, without any other introduction, let me show you 65 amazing behind the set Star Wars movie photos which I’m sure that any fan will appreciate. To be more specific, these photos are from the Empire Strikes Back.

Photography is one of my favorite activities and I can’t imagine life without photos. Through them we see the whole world and much more. We see how people are living, what is happening in every spot of our planet but we also find out a story that is behind every photo.

These photos were made by a commercial photographer named Dave Hill. His love of photography has evolved over the years, and now seems to have branched out to the extreme sides of the spectrum.

The possibilities are endless, as are the hours spent on it. Unfortunately not all of us are experts in setting the scene and taking awesome photos. If you wanted something like this done yourself I’d recommend professionals photographers such as Venture Photography.
