20 Examples Of Stylish Vintage Fonts

I love typography, mainly because you can create superb pieces of art only with them and a paper. As you can see in this article, if you have a little imagination your work is done. These fonts are great if you are looking to create something vintage, so take a look at them.


Matchbook is a simple and functional set of two typefaces we designed in a serif and sans-serif version. Each set includes all accented characters and works beautifully in larger scales.


Atreyu is a contemporary textura blackletter inspired from Gothic Illuminated Manuscripts of 14th century Germany.

Goudy Bookletter 1911

When composed into words the characters appear to lock into one another with a closeness common in early types, but not so often seen in later-day creations. These are letters that take command of the space around them; notice, for instance, the bowed shapes of the v and w.


Based on lettering found on Laundromat windows of San Francisco’s Mission District, Lavanderia features numerous opentype features and three weights.
